Richard Norman Holland

Richard Norman Holland, 84, of North Windham, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his home. He was born November 11, 1929 to Ernest H. and Eugenie (Coulombe) Holland and had lived in the Windham area all his life. Richard attended Windham schools and was employed by the University of Connecticut and Windham Hospital for many years prior to his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Frances (Reis) Holland and his children; Richard N. Holland Jr. of Berkley, CA, Michael Holland of Scotland, Mark Holland and his wife Shelley of Canterbury, Laurie Holland and Rob Yates of Chicopee, MA, two stepdaughters; Debora Maynard and her husband Ron of Vernon, Karel Kinkade and her husband Shawn of Columbia, grandchildren; Rebekah of Norwich, Lauren of Canterbury, sage, Sophie and Zachary of Columbia, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ernest A. Holland and his sister Gertrude Miller. Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
