Richard T. Hinckley

Richard T. Hinckley, born December 14, 1963 , passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 61. He was the son of Howard K. and Virginia (Fraser) Hinckley, of Willimantic, CT. Richard passed away in his childhood home in Columbia, CT with his devoted wife by his side.

Richard graduated from Windham Technical High School, in 1982, where he specialized in carpentry. He owned his own business, Country Town Builders, for over 30 years. Richard will be remembered for his love of building, including custom bird houses and passion for Halloween.

Richard is survived by his wife, Barbara (Webb) Hinckley, daughter Melissa Hinckley and husband Ray, grandson Carter; son Christopher Hinckley and wife Savanna; brother Bruce Hinckley, sister Rose Parker and husband Eric; along with sister Catherine Cella and husband Charles; several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father Howard K. Hinckley and brother Steven H. Hinckley. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
