Rebecca Lee Chalifoux, 56, of Willimantic, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 7, 2025, at home. She was born on August 4, 1968 in Meriden, CT . She was the daughter of Marie McCain of Willimantic, and Charles Robinson, predeceased, also of Willimantic, CT. Becky is survived by her loving children, Brandon Chalifoux, his wife Helen Ho and their son Cooper Chalifoux, Amy Schaefer, her husband Bill Schaefer, and Chris Scott, and his wife Becca Scott. She is also survived by her two sisters, Carol Clement, her husband Ralph Clement and their daughter Angelika Clement, Sarah Flynn, her husband Brian Flynn and their son Teddy Flynn. Rebecca grew up in Coventry, CT and attended Coventry High School. She later received her G.E.D. in Windham, CT. She worked as a personal care assistant in the Windham area and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed her morning coffee, reading, gardening, hiking, going to the beach, kittens, the color purple, and spending time relaxing in the sunshine. She spent a lot of time listening to music and loved Tom Petty! She had a positive outlook on life and spread sunshine wherever she went. She celebrated holidays by making those around her feel special. She was loving, funny, and showed her excitement for life with lots of glitter, balloons, and bubbles. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
