Raymond Philip Truska

Raymond Philip Truska, 81, of Willimantic, died peacefully, after a long illness, on Friday Jan. 18, 2002 at home with his wife Ann (Baron) Truska by his side. He had been employed by the Southern New England Telephone Co. for 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Willimantic Elks Lodge #1311. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter and son in law Rayann and Sandy F. Seidman of Westbrook, 3 grandchildren Josh Ian Seidman of Westbrook, Stacie Ellen Seidman of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. and Lon J. Seidman of Essex, 3 sisters; Phyllis Truska and Ethel Taylor both of Willimantic, and Helen Sauve and her husband Ranaud of Middletown, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by 4 sisters; Josephine Hosier of Clinton, Antoinette Bernard of Willimantic, Loretta Dineen of Bridgeton, ME. and Stella Kavanaugh of Middletown. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Monday from 10:30 to 11:30am prior to the procession to his 12:00 noon Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations to St. Joseph Church Renovation Fund, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, Ct. 06226 or to St. Joseph Living Center, 14 Club Rd., Windham, Ct. 06280.
