Raymond J. Ouimette, 58, of North Windham, died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at his home. He was born March 3, 1954, in Rock Island, Quebec, the son of Antoinette (Boisvert) Ouimette and the late Leonard Ouimette and had lived in Windham most of his life. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and formerly employed as an engraver at A. G. Russell in East Hartford. Ray enjoyed playing darts and kayaking. In addition to his mother he is survived by two children, Raymond Jr. of New Hampshire and Tina Ouimette of Utah, three grandchildren, Raymond Ouimette III, Christina and Logan Ray Ouimette, one great grandson, Kelso Ouimette, two sisters, Lorraine Lowe and her husband Douglas of Willimantic and Helene Poole and her husband Lewis of Scituate, RI. His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 4th at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 46 Valley St. Willimantic, with assembly at the church. Burial will be private in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association at
