Raymond Paul Ouellette Sr., of Willimantic, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, surrounded by his loving family, peacefully at home after a short illness. He was born September 21, 1944 in Willimantic, the son of the late George and Rita (Rondeau) Ouellette. Raymond served in the United States Navy in the late sixties. He worked for the State of Connecticut and became superintendent of St. Joseph Church Cemetery until his retirement. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Penelope Ouellette of Willimantic; two sons, Raymond Ouellette Jr. of Pensacola, FL. and Eric Ouellette of Lebanon, CT; two grandsons; Kendall Ouellette of Pelham, Alabama and Christian Belles-Ouellette of Lebanon, CT and a sister Marguerite Ouellette of Manchester. He is predeceased by a sister AnnMarie Wood. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
