A graveside service will be held for Raymond Elliot who passed away on March 31, 2020 and his wife Betty Elliot who passed away on January 20, 2013 formerly of Mansfield Center. They were married for 57 years. Raymond served in the Marines from 1954-1958. They are survived by three daughters, Donna Freeman and her husband Mike of Broad Brook, CT, Sandra Viel and her husband Bob of Fairfax, VT and Wanda Brand of Willimantic, CT; his nephew Randy who meant the world to them, seven grandchildren; Shawn, Joshua, Jessica, Kyle, Robert, William and Raymond and seven great-grandchildren. Please join us at a graveside burial on August 15, 2020 at 10:30am at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. The family is requesting that any floral donation be delivered to the cemetery on the date of service. www.potterfuneralhome.com
Raymond Amos Elliott, 84, formerly of Mansfield Center, the husband of the late Betty (Petteway) Elliott who were married for 57 years, died on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Ray served in the Marines from 1954-1958.
He is survived by his three daughters, Donna Freeman and her husband Mike of Broad Brook, CT, Sandra Viel and her husband Bob of Fairfax, VT and Wanda Brand of Willimantic, CT; two sisters, Rita Elliott of FL and Vivian Forkey of CA; seven grandchildren, whom loved him very much; Jessica, Robert, Shawn, Joshua, Kyle, William and Raymond; six great-grandchildren. Raymond will always be grateful to his nephew, Randy, whom was like a son to him. Raymond was predeceased by his brother Maurice Elliott. Do to Covid-19, a burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
