Raymond Davis

Raymond Davis, 71, of North Windham, died Monday, July 12, 2004 at Westside Multicare Center in Manchester. He was born June 23, 1933 in Middletown, the son of Raymond and Mary Davis. Mr. Davis covered local sports for The Middletown Press before becoming the Executive Housekeeper at Mansfield State Training School. He was a past president of both the Kiwanis Club and the Irish Club in Willimantic. He is survived by his wife Maureen, a daughter Judy Davis of North Windham, a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Brenda Davis of Mansfield, 2 grandchildren, Jessica and Kelsey Davis. He also leaves 2 brothers, John Davis of Lebanon and Ronald Davis of Kissimmee, FL. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic. His family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service.
