Ray W. Blair

Ray W. Blair, 80, of North Windham, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in Windham. He leaves his beloved wife of 57 years, Kathleen, his daughter Janet, his sons Barry and his wife Bobbi and Ethan. He also leaves six precious and lovable grandchildren, two sisters, Rachel and Aldina, a brother Joseph as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Kay. Ray was a member of the Knights of Columbus, San Jose Council #14 and loved country music and camping in Charlestown, RI and York Beach, Maine. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. Ray's family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Peter Jones and the caregivers at Douglas Manor for their kindness and compassion while he was in their care.
