Rachel Ann Bombria

Rachel Ann Bombria, 31, of Willimantic, CT passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2018. She was born in Norwich on March 12, 1987 to Marlene Bombria and William Morrissette Jr. and was raised in Willimantic. Rachel graduated from Windham Technical High School where she studied culinary arts. She was later employed by the University of Connecticut as a chef. Rachel was a devoted mother to her daughter Leah Richardson. Besides her daughter, she leaves behind her mother, Marlene Bombria; brother, and best friend Brian Bombria; maternal grandmother, Shirley Bombria, as well as her many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will also be missed by her many friends. She is predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Henry R. Bombria Sr. and paternal grandparents, William and Anna Morrissette. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the American Legion Post 19 on Route 14 in Windham at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to a charity of your choice.
