Priscilla “Pat” Korner, 85, of East Hartford, CT passed away on July 31, 2021. Born in Willimantic, CT on March 24, 1936 to Fred and Florence (Brown) Korner.
Pat grew up in Coventry, CT and lived in California, Old Saybrook, and East Hartford. She worked for Pratt & Whitney and International Aero Engines, retiring after 42 years of service.
She is survived by her two sisters, Janet and her husband Ray Boudreau of West Hartford and Shirley and her husband Thomas Zemek of Storrs; brother Sidney Korner of East Hartford; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; five brothers Walter, Russell, Calvin, Chester, and Raymond Korner; and a dear niece Kimberley Sue Boudreau.
There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10:00am at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. Her burial will follow at Storrs Cemetery, 82 N. Eagleville Rd. Storrs, CT 06268. Due to the rise in COVID-19, we ask that masks be worn during the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, Processing Center P.O. Box 863765 Orlando, FL 32886 or to a charity of your choice.
