Porfirio A. Delgado

Porfirio A. Delgado, 76, of East Hartford, CT passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015. He was born April 6, 1939, son of the late Otitio and Dolores Delgado. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Delgado, his daughter Deanna Delgado, three grandchildren, Ashley Edwards, Brianna and J. R. Diaz and two great grandchildren. He also leaves behind four sisters, three brothers, two stepdaughters and their husbands, a stepson, two step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two children, four brothers, and three sisters. He was a custodian in Norwalk and Windham Public Schools for several years and a janitor for Big Y Supermarket. Porfirio lived for his family and he loved to fish, cook, and grow his garden. Services will be held graveside at New Willimantic Cemetery in Willimantic, CT on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.
