Phillip M. Jax

Phillip M. Jax, 61, of Daleville Rd. , Willington, husband of Muriel (Jacobson) Jax, died Monday June 24, 2002 at the Rockville General Hospital. He was born Jan. 12, 1941 in Hartford and grew up and attended schools in East Hartford. After over 30 years of service, he retired from the Connecticut Natural Gas Co. in Hartford. Phillip enjoyed raising goats and sheep and was and avid salt water fisherman. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons Brent Jacques of E. Windsor and Cassidy Jax of Willington, a brother Herbert Jacques of Florida, a sister Madeline Dowling of Niantic and a grandson Sean Phillip Jacques. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be private. Please omit flowers.
