Peter R. Lamot, 71, of Willimantic, husband of Pauline (Locrasto) Lamot, died Thursday April 21, 2005 at their home. He was born May 31, 1933 in Willimantic, the son of Peter and Anne (Tabor) Lamot and had lived in Willimantic all his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of James J. Shea Post #19 American Legion. He owned and operated Mercury Machine and Tool Co. in Andover for many years and most recently Lamot Tool and Motor Co. on Valley St. in Willimantic. In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Laurie Lamot of Willimantic, 2 grandchildren, Trisha and Jamie Lamot, a brother, David Lamot of Rockville, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Randolph Lamot. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic with assembly at the church.
