Peter C. Chick Sr

Peter C. Chick Sr., 81 of Columbia, went to heaven on May 20th 2011 . He was the beloved husband of Barbara L. (Ingvertsen) Chick for 55 years and was the son of the late Harold and Vi (Blairs) Chick. Peter was predeceased by his brothers Robert and Harold Chick and son Peter Chick Jr. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving daughter Donna Chick of Tolland as well as his granddaughter Melissa Chick and her fiancAC. Aaron "The Big Guy" Studer of Columbia; his brother Richard Chick of Willimantic, brothers in law and sisters in law Andy and Lillian Ingvertsen and Peter and Linda Ingvertsen of Unionville as well as several nieces and nephews. He retired from Pratt and Whitney after 37 years of service and was a veteran of the US Air Force. Peter was a P.E.R. of Elks Lodge #1311 in Willimantic, enjoyed golfing, playing cards and cooking Sunday dinner for his girls and the big guy. He always enjoyed spending time with friends and family. His family will receive relatives and friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson Street (RTE.195) Willimantic on Tuesday May 24th between 5:00 and 7:00pm.
