Peter Francis John Boehm, 83, of Coventry, CT died peacefully on October 5, 2014 following a lengthy respiratory illness at Windham Hospital with his wife at his bedside. He was born November 24, 1930 in Astoria, NY to the late Peter Henry and Mary (Leace) Boehm. He leaves behind his dear wife of forty two years, Marlene Smyth Boehm of Coventry, his stepdaughter and her husband Dale Louise and Craig Farley, step-granddaughters, Amanda, Melissa, Megan and Rachel Farley, all of Oakdale, CA, brother-in-law Eric Kusche, Colliersville, NY, sister-in-law Myrna Riquier and her husband Richard Maine of Chaplin, CT. He also leaves his and his wife's dearest friend, Kert Kersen of Coventry, CT. Peter worked as an auto mechanic throughout his early life. Later he was employed from 1985 to 1997 in the Maintenance Dept of the Mansfield School System. Gifted at construction, Peter built two houses, both in Coventry including their log cabin home on Flanders Road where they have resided for the past 30 years. He also had a keen interest in miniature trains and spent many of his retirement hours working on his collection. He and his wife enjoyed attending numerous train shows throughout the years.
