Percy P. Sanborn, 80, of South Bear Hill Rd., Chaplin, husband of Marylou (Elkins) Sanborn, died Tuesday evening May 4, 2004 at home. He was born Sept. 18, 1923 in Augusta, ME. Percy was a U.S. Army veteran of World War 2 and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 daughters and sons in law; Carol and Dave Bellman of Chaplin and Ann and L.J. Babcock of Hillsville, VA., a stepdaughter Mary Jackson and her husband Steve of Hartford and 9 grandchildren. His funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. There are no calling hours.
