Pedro Esponda

Pedro Esponda, 89, of Kings Park, NY. formerly of Windham, died Tuesday March 4, 2008 in Smithtown, NY. He was born May 13, 1918 in Puerto Rico the son of Julio Esponda and Modesta Cruz. Pedro was a great husband, proud father and loving grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by eight children, Hector Esponda, Rosemary Esponda, Roberto Esponda, Esthel M. Davila, Carmen Esponda, Pedro Esponda Jr., Anthony Esponda and Ramon Esponda, seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Rosa Esponda and two sons, Pedro Esponda Jr. and Julio Esponda. His family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Friday between 5:00 and 8:00pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30am at Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, Club Rd., Windham with interment following in Windham Center Cemetery.
