Pauline V. Poulos, 88, of Willimantic, wife of the late Theodore Poulos, died Saturday, September 30, 2006 in Windham. She was born September 30, 1918 in Providence, RI, the daughter of Arthur and Evangeline Zisopoulos and had lived in Willimantic most of her life where she raised her 3 sons. Her family came from Macedonia, she was fluent in Greek and a member of the Norwich Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Mrs. Poulos was a gentle, loving woman who never had a bad word for anyone and was particularly fond of cats. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by her 3 sons, Peter Poulos and his wife Lynne of Willimantic, Tom Poulos of Willimantic, Chris Poulos and his wife Marie of Colchester, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Rte. 195, Willimantic Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 414 Valley St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 247 Washington St., Norwich, CT 06360.
