Pauline (Spellman) Potter, 101, of Willimantic, widow of Russell W. Potter, died Monday March 25, 2002 at the Windham Hospital. She was born Feb. 3, 1901 in Brimfield, Mass. the daughter of Frank and Estella (Franklin) Spellman. She was a 1918 graduate of Enfield High School and graduated from the Willimantic Normal School (now ECSU) in 1920. On July 2, 1921 she and Russell were married in Windham. She is survived by her daughter Ruth Potter of Lincoln Center, Mass., a sister Ruth Terwilliger of Somers, a brother Dr. Frank Spellman of White Plains, N.Y., 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons Robert R. and Theodore S. Her funeral service was held today at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic with the Rev. Dr. Bruce Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the New Willimantic Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to John F.
