Pauline M. Passarello

Pauline Mary (DeGange) Passarello, 80, of Scotland, CT, passed away peacefully with friends and family by her side. She was born on September 19, 1945 to the late Joseph and Angeline (Muscarella) DeGange of New London CT. In 1970 Pauline married Guy Passarello of Scotland CT

Pauline was a long-time employee of Electric Boat in Groton CT. She worked there for nearly 62 years. She began her career in 1963 in Miss Petty’s steno-pool and shortly thereafter moved to the payroll department where she held numerous positions and spent the remainder of her career. She was an exceptional worker. Her coworkers described her as one of the kindest, most conscientious, professional, and reliable employees in the department. Her work ethic and dedication were undeniable. Pauline loved her job and made lasting friendships with those she came to know or worked with.

Outside of work, Pauline enjoyed spending time at home in Scotland with her husband Guy until his passing on September 19, 2020. Pauline loved nature, animals and almost more than anything, the color purple. The family would like to thank all the caregivers and those who took time from their personal lives to care for her. She is survived by her nephew Joseph DeGange.
