Pauline V. Nagy

Pauline V. (Hoferka) Nagy, 85, of Columbia, widow of John Nagy, died Friday Oct. 3, 2003 at the Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn. She was born April 19, 1918 in Woodside, PA., the daughter of Emery and Antonia (Risha) Hoferka. Pauline enjoyed craftwork and baking and decorating cakes. She is survived by 2 daughters; Joyce Bombard of Farmington and Linda South of Pomfret, 2 sons; Richard of Stafford and John of Vernon, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several brothers and sisters, a brother in law George Nagy of Ashford and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private with burial following in the West St. Cemetery, Columbia. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorial donations to the Columbia Volunteer Fire Dept., Rte. 66, Columbia, CT. 06237.
