Pauline B. Kissman 83 of Willimantic, CT. Passed away peacefully on Feb.1, 2017 at Hartford hospital. She was a former resident of Lebanon, CT. She was born Pauline E. Blodgett to the late George H. Blodgett and Elva A. Stevens of Penacook, NH. Pauline was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Henry S. Kissman and her sister, Shirley F. Cummings. She is survived by a son, Michael Kissman of Windham,CT.; a daughter Lori A. Kissman of Willimantic, CT with whom she made her home with and a son William Kissman and his wife Tammy of Hampton,CT. She also leaves four grandchildren, David Kissman of Willimantic,CT, Gabrielle Kissman and her companion Connor Johnston of Stafford Springs, CT, Shane Kissman and his companion Nicole White-Caspoli of Hampton, CT, Liam Kissman of Hampton,CT; two great grandchildren, Faith Beaumont and Savannah Kissman both of Hampton,CT and one on the way due in July of Stafford Springs, CT; two brothers Richard and Robert Blodgett both of New Hampshire along with many nieces and nephews and their children. Pauline was employed by Barkers Dept. Store in Willimantic as a customer service manager for many years followed by a cashier at Lebanon Green Store in Lebanon,CT. She was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post #180 of Lebanon, CT where she carried the flag in the Annual Memorial Day Parade. Pauline enjoyed going to the casino,doing word search books, spending time with family and taking trips to New Hampshire. Her family would like to thank the staffs of St. Joseph Living Center, Windham Hospital and Hartford Hospital for all of their wonderful care while she was at their facilities. Family will receive relatives and friends for calling hours at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte.195) Willimantic, CT, Wednesday February 8, 2017 from 5-7PM. A funeral service will also be at Potter Funeral Home on Friday February 10, 2017 at 1:00PM with a burial to follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery.
