Paul Senechal

Paul Senechal, 83, of Willimantic, husband of the late Diana (Bernier) Senechal, died Thursday November 21, 2002 in Willimantic. He was born July 4, 1919 in St. Damase, Quebec, Canada and had lived in Willimantic for 50 years. He was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Willimantic and the Franco-American Civic and Social Club. Mr. Senechal was employed at the former American Thread Company and then for 22 years at the University of Connecticut from which he retired. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Fernand "Fred" and Kristina Senechal of Westerly, RI, 2 grandsons, Eric Senechal of Lebanon and Garth Senechal of Willimantic, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. His family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service.
