Paul H Richards

Paul H. Richards, 76, of Willimantic, died Wednesday October 3, 2001 of injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born November 13, 1923 in Windham, the son of Glen and Laura (Brousseau) Richards and was a lifelong area resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a truck driver at the former Electro-Motive Co. and was then employed for several years at UCONN. Mr. Richards was an avid bingo player at area games. He is survived by 4 daughters, Paulette Chandler of Windham, Bonnie Cassarino of Somers, Linda Cosgrove of Mansfield, Jill Akers of Naples, FL, 2 step-children, Gary Marschat of Windham, Theresa Kuefner of Windham, 4 brothers, Jimmy Richards of Willimantic, Arthur Richards of Willimantic, Robert Richards of Willimantic, Norman Richards of Baltic, 1 sister, Dorothy Brown of Windham, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic with the Reverend Delton Stimson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Windham Center Cemetery. His family will receive friends at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service.
