Paul W. Mcgarity

Paul W. McGarity, 84, of Storrs, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at Rockville General Hospital. He was born September 22, 1918 in Indy, OK, the son of Bud and Mattie (Poor) McGarity and had lived in the Mansfield area for the past 40 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and prior to his retirement was employed for many years at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford. He is survived by his loyal live in companion, Norma Mills and her family, son Eric Greene, daughter Lori Mills and grandson Matthew Echevarria, several children and grandchildren out of state. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic with the Reverend Ron Baker officiating.
