Paul Heller

Attorney Paul A. Heller passed away on January 17, 2018. He was born in Willimantic, CT on December 2, 1938?and lived there all his life except for the time he attended the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University School of Law. His practice of law included Juvenile Justice as well as Commercial and Criminal law. In the practice of Juvenile Law he was very sympathetic to the people he represented, often saving them from cruel and dangerous lives. Paul was known throughout Willimantic for practicing law with honesty, integrity and knowledge. Paul is survived by his wife Ruth; daughters, Anna Heller and her husband George L. Cushing Jr., Molly Heller and her husband Nathaniel Jellinek, stepsons Joseph Abramson and David Abrams, along with grandchildren Isaac B. Abrams, Isabel Cushing, Harry Jellinek and Stella Jellinek. It is Jewish tradition to not have flowers for a funeral. In lieu of flowers please consider a gift to the American Cancer Society or the Charity of your choice. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Temple Bnai Israel, 345 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT. Interment will follow at Temple Bnai Israel Cemetery in Mansfield, CT. A meal of consolation will be served?immediately following at Temple Bnai Israel with a shiva minyan to be held at 4:00pm.
