Patricia Mary Nelson

Patricia Mary Gleave Nelson died unexpectedly on Thursday, the 20th of December 2012. Pat was daughter of Arnold and Kathleen Gleave, widow to Hal, mother to Harold, David and Kevin, mother in law to Beth, Valerie and Brenda, grandmother to Ana, Benjamin, Jesse, Leila, Noah and Scott, and great grandmother to Astraea, Rio and Oscar. She was educated in Hartford, grammar school, Hartford High and Hillyer College, (now part of the University of Hartford). She and Hal owned the Esso Station and Dairy Queen in Willimantic until 1972. She was active in the community, as church school teacher, Junior Women's Club, PTA, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Women's League of Voters. Pat was never bored. A celebration of her life will be held at St Paul's Episcopal Church, Plains Road, Windham Center Connecticut at 11AM on Saturday, the 29th of December.
