Patricia "Pat" Dodds Beard

Patricia Pat Dodds (Hopkins) Beard of Pensacola, Fl., went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2005. Pat was born Feb. 17, 1939 in Willimantic the daughter of the late Merle Everett and Marie (Weston) Hopkins. For several years, Pat was an election official for voting precinct 24 in Pensacola. She was predeceased by a son Matt Dallas Beard. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James Jim Clarence Beard and her daughter and son in law Sara and John Burdette all of Pensacola, her brother and sister in law John and Calogera Hopkins of Spring Hill, FL., her sister and brother in law Barbara and Justy Gamache of Mansfield, three nieces, a nephew, four great nieces and two great nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Aug. 27, 2005 at 1:30pm at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. There are no calling hours.
