Patricia Whitham Brown, 81, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was the devoted wife of Fred Brown for 59 wonderful years. Together they built a life centered on love, family and unwavering support for one another.

She was predeceased by her parents, George E. Whitham and Dolly H.R. Whitham She is survived by her beloved children, Kelli and Jim Berwick, Amy & Michael Thomas, and Ian and Tracie Brown, her cherished grandchildren, Trevor and Estrella, Justin and Ashley, Darick, Skylyn, Mikenzie, Cole and Jessica; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Brystal and Reed.

Patricia was the eldest of ten siblings and is lovingly remembered by Michele and Jesse, Terry, Mark and Ylena, Leslie and Pete, Peter and Nancy, Alison and Eddie, Roger and Gaye, Damian and Lydia and Kate and Bob, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Patricia dedicated much of her working life to serving her community. She worked for the town of Mansfield for over 30 years before continuing her career at Windham Hospital, where she worked for nearly another 20 years, only retiring on December 19th of last year. Through her work, she touched countless lives with her kindness, dedication, and caring nature.

Recently, Patricia moved to Coventry to be closer to her family. She spent her final weeks at home, comforted by the presence of those she loved most.

Above all else, Patricia’s greatest joy was her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, generosity, and devotion that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Those who loved Patricia will remember her warm smile, caring heart, and the familiar phrase she often shared when saying goodbye to her treasured great grandson: “See ya morrow.”

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the memories she leaves behind and in the love that will remain with them always.
