Norman Tebo

February 28, 1948 — October 3, 2015

Norman Edward Tebo, 67, previously of Willimantic, CT, died October 3, 2015. He was born February 28, 1948 to Joseph Fennell Tebo and Ruth May (Thompson) Tebo. He was a USMC Vietnam Veteran, and was active with the local VFW and AMVETS chapters in Willimantic for many years. He worked for Brand Rex in Willimantic in the early 1980s and then worked at UConn Storrs as a plumber until his stroke in 1998 that caused his disability retirement. After his retirement Norman moved to Florence, South Carolina. Norman was predeceased by his parents, his brother Harold and his sister Patricia. Norman leaves his siblings: Robert, Jean, Shirley and Carolyn. He loved them and their families with all his heart. He also leaves his daughter Mary Catherine Tebo and grandson Gregory Matthew Cecil, as well as his friend, ex-wife Kathleen Mary Tebo. Norman was known for his generosity and laughter, and will be missed by many local friends in both Florence and in the Willimantic area. A Funeral Service will be held, 11:00AM Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, with Visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
