Norman E. Roy

Norman E. Roy, 69, of Willimantic, husband of Suzanne (McClure) Roy, died Friday November 29, 2002 at home. He was born August 28, 1933 in Webster, MA, the son of the late Helier and Victoria (Piette) Roy and had lived in Willimantic most of his life. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was employed for many years at the former American Thread Co. in Willimantic. In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Norma Roy of Willimantic, Tina Johnson of Orlando, FL, Tammy Lincoln of Willimantic, a brother, Robert Roy of Massachusetts, 5 grandchildren, Lilly Ann and George Johnson, Justin, Devon and Christian Lincoln, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Vets, 101 Yantic Lane, Norwich, CT 06360. Arrangements are through the Potter Funeral Home, Willimantic.
