Norman Perry Kiss, 67, of Windham,formerly of Coventry, died Saturday February 8, 2003 at the W. W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. Norman was born October 31, 1935 in Gurleyville, attended Windham High School and was a 1966 graduate of the University of Hartford, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War serving as an ordnance specialist at Fort Dix, NJ. He is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Beth Kiss of Coventry, Kevin and Kathryn Kiss of Scotland, Shawn and Terry Kiss of Coventry, a daughter, Kathleen Kiss of Enfield, his mother Theodora Kiss of Coventry, a sister, Joan Zizka of Sanford, Maine and nine grandchildren. His family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be private.
