Norman L. Hilsenrad

Norman Hilsenrad loved books, ideas, music and sports. He found peace and spirituality in nature. However, friends and family were valued above all. Mr. Hilsenrad passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2014. Norman was the son of Philip and Molly Hilsenrad (Ridgefield, CT). He is survived by his beloved wife Marsha, his sister Marjorie Hilsenrad, in- laws Anita and Richard Lichtenberg and Barbara and Robert Weiner, his nephews Michael, Daniel (Naomi), Noah (Natasha), and his niece Sarah. Norman attended Swarthmore College. After serving in the army he received degrees from San Francisco State University and the University of Connecticut. He was always true to himself, a loving husband, and loyal to his friends. Norman will be always be loved and greatly missed. A memorial service is being planned in his honor.
