Norman T. Daigle of North Windham, CT passed away on December 14, 2015, surrounded by his family at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Norman was born on January 14, 1937 in Norwich, CT. Norman was the son of the late Albert and Marie Ann (Dumais) Daigle. Norman is survived by his loving wife Sandra (Postler) Daigle. Norman worked as a carpenter and an electrician. He worked at Electric Boat in Groton as a first class carpenter in the model shop, as well as a driver for Columbia Ford in Columbia, Connecticut. He also worked at Clarks Ready Mix in WY. He was a member of the National Guard, as well as a lifetime member of the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department. The people who knew Norman knew he was an avid racecar fan and enjoyed making his birdhouses. Norman enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed his time spent in Jackson Hole Wyoming. He is survived by six children Bruce and Sherry Daigle of Jackson Hole, WY, Keith and Diane Daigle of Punta Gorda FL, Lori (Daigle) and John Rottino of Willimantic, Heidi (Daigle) and Chris Forster of Baltic, CT, Joel Daigle of North Windham, CT and Thomas and Sheila Daigle of Franklin, CT. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Kelsey, Marrah, Cassidy and Skylar Rottino, Ashley Hartleben, Adam Forster, Victoria and Thomas Daigle, Justin and Samantha Daigle, Cody and Kate Daigle; Seven Great grandchildren, Walker, Parker, Leighton, Devon, Alec and Nova of Florida and Zay Zay of Willimantic. He is also survived by his brothers, Albert Daigle of Uncasville. Roland and Audrey Daigle of California, Richard and Sharon Daigle of Norwich and one sister, June Devanno of Norwich along with numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department, 5 Tyler Drive Franklin, CT. 06254.
