Norma "Peg" Pomo

Norma ?Peg? Pomo, 85, of Colchester, formerly of Preston and Columbia, passed on to eternal life on October 31, 2018 at Harrington Court Healthcare. She was born and raised in Willimantic, the daughter of the late Emil and Daisy (Lincoln) Bernet. Peg always enjoyed living on the water and having her family over for gatherings. She was known for making homemade doughnuts every Halloween. She was an animal lover, especially her cats, and also enjoyed painting and arts and crafts. Peg will be missed by all that knew her. Peg is survived by her children, Gary (Kim) Shaw of Plainfield; Terrilynn Shaw of Windham; Michael (Kim) Shaw of Lebanon; Robert (Karen) Shaw of RI; Pamela Adams of North Windham; Jeffrey (Lori) Shaw of Scotland; 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was predeceased by her son Walter Shaw, her three husbands Larry Shaw, Robert Park, and Angelo Pomo; her siblings, Lincoln Bernet, Faye Fitts, and Chester Bernet. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:30am at the New Willimantic Cemetery.
