Norma Jean Martineau, 67, of Willimantic, daughter of the late Norman and Everill Nason, died peacefully at her home on January 22, 2014 surrounded by her family. She enjoyed playing cards, arts and crafts and her home in which she took pride in and resided for 30 years. She loved to laugh, her smile was infectious and everyone she met felt her warmth. Most of all she enjoyed her walk with the Lord showing that through her kind, loving and caring words. Norma worked at the Card Home in Willimantic for 20 years where she enjoyed cooking and the people she worked with until she retired in 2005. She was predeceased by her son Glenn Martineau Jr. She is survived by her daughter Paige Ann Martineau and David Dziekan; two sisters Nancy and her husband John Ondrejech, Kathy and her husband David Legace; three grandchildren Matthew Martineau, Brooke Martineau and Gina Shelnut; and a special nephew William Herrera and niece Emily Tucker. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 27 at 7:00pm at the Christian Fellowship, Rte. 97, Pudding Hill Rd., Scotland.
