Nicole Rioux Henrikson

Nicole Suzanne Rioux Henrikson 2/24/1978 - 11/14/2011, age 33, daughter of William Rioux Jr and Sharon Vannier of Columbia, CT and Darlene and Richard Molenaar of Philadelphia, PA, passed away suddenly in her home in Mansfield Center, CT on Sunday night. Nicole attended Glastonbury High School and lived in CT all her life. Besides her loving parents and step parents, she leaves her maternal grandparents, Edward and Lorraine Paquette of Melbourne, FL, and several Aunts and Uncles and will be missed terribly by Loretta and Dave Ausburger of Columbia, CT, Debbie and John Longest of Melbourne FL, Gary and Susan Paquette of Niantic, CT., Jeff and Suzy Paquette of Uncasville, CT and Tim and Patti Paquette of Groton, CT. Nicole was pre-deceased by paternal grandparents, William and Lillian Rioux, and her cousin, Chad L'Heureux. She also leaves many cousins, Daryl L'Heureux, Christie Paquette, Greg Maynard, Randy and Leslie Paquette, Eric and Christina Paquette, and Jennifer, Jonathan and Joshua Paquette. Nicole also leaves her beloved second cousin, Shana Ausburger. She also leaves many friends whose lives she has touched. Nicole was an ardent pet lover and will especially miss her dog, Dexter, who lives with Tim Paquette and his family. Her other joys were being outdoors and fishing with her Dad, Bill. She loved to attend Broadway shows with her Mom and stepfather Richard. She loved reading Stephen King and listening to Green Day. Nicole would want everyone to know that she is in a peaceful place and that she believed in everlasting life energy. Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 -7:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home on 456 Jackson Street, Willimantic, CT; a memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM.
