Neil F. Clark

Neil F. Clark, 78, of Storrs, husband of Sheila (Abare) Clark, died Monday June 14, 2004 at Hartford Hospital. He was born October 20, 1925 in Mansfield, the son of Arthur and Maybelle (Dore) Clark and was a lifelong resident of Mansfield. During World War II he served as a 2nd LT in the Army Air Corps. Neil started his professional career as an inspector for the Connecticut Department of Motor vehicles and retired as Director of the Department. In addition to his wife he is survived by 3 children, N. Patrick Clark and his wife JoAnn, Thomas A. Clark and his former wife, Sally Clark, Kathleen Pelletier and her husband Terry, all of Storrs, 4 grandchildren, Kelley and Timothy Clark, Courtney and Kyle Pelletier. Private graveside services will be held in the Storrs Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mansfield Fire Dept.
