Nathan R Perkins, 70, of Windham, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Hartford Hospital. He was the son of the late Robert and Arlene (Wheaton) Perkins. He was employed by the Town of Windham, at the Town Yard for 43 years. He enjoyed NASCAR and after retirement he loved visiting his friends at the Windham Town Yard. As a young boy he loved spending summertime with his aunt Hazel and uncle Alex, and always remembered eating donuts that his Grandmother Ida made. In addition to his wife Mary, of 35 years, he is survived by four children, Linda Stanley and her finance Martin Willoughby, Nicole and her husband Ernie Dore, Glen and Duane Steinburg , his brothers, Robert Perkins, Gary Perkins and his sister Jeanne Montalvo; seven grand children; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
