Nathalie Eloise (Foster) Brown, 79, of Norwich, widow of Robert F. Brown, passed into eternal rest at Haven Healthcare of Norwich on Saturday Aug. 7, 2004. She was born May 15, 1925 in Newton, MA. the daughter of the late Elliot and Madeline (Trott) Foster. Nathalie, a native of Franklin,CT., owned and operated Beta Farm in Franklin for approximately 40 years. She was a longtime member of Grace Episcopal Church in Yantic. She was formerly active with the Connecticut Trails Council of Girlscouts as a leader and trainer. Nathalie enjoyed crocheting, camping and her family and opened her home to many people in need. She gave all she had to those she loved and will be sadly missed. She is survived by her daughter Dianne Ladouceur of Norwich, 2 sons, Douglas Brown and his wife Kim of Wallingford, and David Brown of Norwich; 5 grandchildren, Edward Ladouceur and his wife Jenn of Norwich, Hope Beauchemin and her husband Tim of Norwich, Robert Ladouceur and his wife Heather of Columbia, Eric Brown and his wife Alex of Moosup and Heather Baron and her husband Elias of Griswold; and 8 great grandchildren, Samantha, Troy, Tiffany, Amanda, Tyler, Anthony, Victoria and Joshua. A special friend Raymond Garrett and Nathalie's beloved pug, Rascal, also survive her. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at Grace Episcopal Church, Chapel Hill Rd., Yantic, with assembly at the church. Burial will follow in the Plains Cemetery, Franklin.
