Nancy Melissa Ramos

Nancy Melissa Ramos; beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend passed away on October 1, 2014, at the age of 34, with her family by her side. She was born on November 15, 1979, the first child of Luis Alfredo Ramos and Paulina Gutierrez. Nancy worked for Network Inc. for 15 years, helping people as an assistant manage in a group home for people with special needs. She was a graduate of Windham Tech and a lifelong resident of Willimantic, CT. Nancy was a devoted soul who dedicated herself to her spouse Radames Ian Matos of 15 years and children; Anevdi (15), Armani (13), Abryana (8) and stepdaughter Alexia (23), as well as family and friends. Nancy passionately enjoyed music, dancing, watching movies, reading magazines, going out to eat and taking rides on the scenic back roads of CT. Nancy is predeceased by her paternal grandfather Juan Vega Gutierrez. Nancy is also survived by two brothers: Luis Ramos Jr. and Jovanny Ramos as well as two sisters: Kassondrah Moore and Jazlynn Ramos, as well as numerous aunts and uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends and relatives at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic, CT on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 6-8:00PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM at Sagrado Corazon de Jesus 61 Club Rd. Windham, CT. Interment will follow at St Joseph's Cemetery.
