Nancy Elizabeth (Dean) Landon, 54, of Scotland, wife of Wayne Landon, daughter of Stanley Dean of Windham and the late Elizabeth Dean, passed on to a better place Saturday, December 03, 2005 in Willimantic after a brave fight against breast and pancreatic cancer. She was born May 2, 1951 in Providence, RI and graduated from Windham High School in 1969. She worked at Rogers Corporation for 15 years then went on to be a homemaker for the elderly and disabled. In addition to her husband and father, Nancy leaves her three wonderful daughters, Karen Levesque and her husband Sid Jr. of Florida, Amy Landon of South Windham and Erin Landon of Scotland, also her three grandchildren, Jenee, Lydia and Jerith of Florida, her brother Steve Dean and his wife Rose and their sons, Kevin, Eric and Brian of Willimantic, her mother and father-in-law, Gert and Wilbur Landon of Chaplin and many other friends and relatives. In ddition to her mother, Nancy was predeceased by a brother, Alan Dean and a host of friends and relatives. Upon her request there will be no calling hours. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A public memorial service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Christian Fellowship Church, Rte. 97, Scotland.
