Nancy C. Boucar

Nancy C. Boucar, 81, of Pemberton Rd., Willimantic, died Monday Jan. 20, 2003 at the Douglas Manor. She was born in Willimantic on July 13, 1921 the daughter of Joseph W. and Lillian A. (Havens) Boucar. Nancy was a Windham High School graduate. She began her career at SNET in 1941 and retired 33 years later as an assistant manager. Nancy loved to work in her yard with flowers and shrubs , with the company of her beloved cats. She was predeceased by a brother Joseph C. Boucar of Mansfield Center and a half brother William Perry of Putnam. She is survived by 4 nephews; Joseph H. Boucar of Andover, Peter A. Boucar of Maine, William Perry of Woodstock and Robert Perry of Putnam and a sister in law Phoebe Boucar of Mansfield Center. Her family will receive friends at the Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic on Thursday morning from 10:00 until her funeral service begins at 11:00. Burial will follow in the New Willimantic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers her family suggests memorial donations to the Douglas Manor in Memory of Nancy Boucar, 103 North Rd., Windham,Ct. 06280.
