Nancy Hall Aramini, of Columbia, CT, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29th. Nancy, 81, was born in Hartford, CT, to the late Eugene and Nancy Hall. She grew up in Agawam, MA, and graduated from Agawam High School in 1950. She attended St. Francis School of Nursing (Hartford, CT) and graduated with her RN in 1953. Nancy loved the outdoors, particularly bluebirds, gardening and the ocean. She collected buttons and belonged to multiple chapters of the Connecticut State Button Society. She was a 64 year participant in the Harvard Nurses Study. Nancy was a dedicated weekly volunteer at the Covenant Soup Kitchen (Willimantic, CT) for many years. She was also an enthusiastic Eastern Connecticut Rugby Fan; "Mrs A" and her dog, Buttons, rarely missed a match. Nancy was young beyond her years and used her boundless energy visiting loved ones, helping others, and zipping through the Columbia woods in her golf cart. She had a curious mind and an open heart, making friends of all ages up until the moment of her death. She loved and was loved by her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Raymond Bruno Aramini, and is survived by her son Daniel (Glastonbury, CT) and his children Andrew and Caroline; by her daughter Nancy (Aramini) Francis (Derry, NH), her son in law Raf Francis and their son, Samuel; and by her son Ray Aramini and his girlfriend, Judy Cariglia (Columbia, CT). She is also survived by her brother, Richard H. Hall and his wife, Sue (Portland, CT) and their children and grandchildren, by her sister in law, Ines Hazen (Riverton, CT), her brother in law Julio and Marilyn Aramini (Manchester, NH) and their children and grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte 195), Willimantic, CT, on Wednesday, December 4th, between 4:00 and 8:00PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Town St., Lebanon, CT, at 11:00AM,Thursday, December 5th. Please visit www.potterfuneralhome.com for online memorials.
