Myrtle M. Lombardo

Myrtle May (Kramer) Lombardo, of North Windham, formerly of Willimantic, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, September 6th, 2014 at Douglas Manor in Windham Center. She was born on September 23, 1931 to Myrtle and Robert Kramer. She attended Windham High School and married Michael Lombardo on June 21, 1952. She was employed by the Electro- Motive Manufacturing Company in Willimantic and the State of Connecticut and retired in 1987. She is survived by her husband Michael Lombardo and her children Michele Joly and her husband David Joly of East Granby; Robert Lombardo and his wife Donna Lombardo of Plainfield, IL; and Geraldine "Jerri" Chalk and her husband Dennis Chalk of Columbia. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Andrew Joly and his wife Bonnie Joly of Tewksbury, MA; Amanda Joly and her fiancAC. Adam Patnaude of Bloomfield; Melissa Chalk and Emily Chalk of Columbia; and Kristina Lombardo and Michael Lombardo of St. Augustine, FL. She is also survived by her great grandson Conor Joly of Tewksbury, MA. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Bessette. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday September 9, 2014 between 9:30 and 10:00am with a service begining at 10:00am at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Interment will then follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Windham Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
