Muriel Kreuscher Obituary
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Muriel E. (Beebe) Kreuscher of Willington, CT, who left us on September 6, 2024, at the age of 88.
Muriel was a cherished wife and mother, a loyal friend, and avid lover of animals.
Having lived her lifelong dream to be surrounded by as many horses as her husband would allow, Muriel passed away peacefully on her farm, built by her son Jeff, with her devoted husband Dick, at her side.
Together, Dick and Muriel ran Dick's Autocare in Mansfield for many years. Her infectious smile and warm, welcoming nature made every customer feel like part of the family. Her kind heart has left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Muriel was born in Mansfield, CT on November 6, 1935, the daughter of Clinton and Mabel Beebe. She is survived by her loving husband Richard (Dick) Kreuscher, son Jeffrey Todd and his wife Joanne, daughter Laurie Todd, and cherished granddaughter Isabella (Izzi) Zimmerman, Dick's daughters Deborah Colbath and her husband Michael, Melissa Little and her husband Ernie, many grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Yvette from Home Instead, whose compassionate care brought comfort to Muriel during her final months.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Second Chance Ranch Equine Rescue, 57 East St., East Granby, CT 06026, in tribute to a woman who gave so much to her equine friends.
As we say goodbye, we find solace in knowing that Muriel has gone home to care for the horses she loved.
