Mirza Cerda Obituary
Mirza A. Cerda, 63, of Willimantic, CT passed away on August 16, 2021. She was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Jorge and Paula (Cosme) Morales. Mirza absolutely loved cooking; she was an avid NY Yankees fan, and she loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally.
She is survived by her children, Jose, Eric, Rafael, Anthony, Anthony L., Nancy, and Jackelyne; brothers and sisters; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Mirza is now reunited with her sister, Rosie, and other siblings in addition to her parents.
Mirza’s family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 3:00 to 5:00pm at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. Willimantic. Her funeral service will be private.
