Mildred M. Kurdzo

Mildred Kurdzo, 103 of Willimantic, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 9, 2016. She was born February 28, 1913, the daughter of the late Michael and Apolonia (Wisniewski) Kurdzo. Mildred was predeceased by her sisters, Sophie (Kurdzo) Zawislak, Stella (Kurdzo) Stemmons; brothers, Stanley, John, Walter Kurdzo and Joseph Kusizot. Mildred was a lifelong resident of Willimantic, retiring from Windham Hospital in the 60?s where she worked as a page operator. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. Mildred is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including, Michael Kurdzo and his wife Ellen of Andover, CT; goddaughter and niece, Marie (Kurdzo) Renner and her husband William of Maryland, James Kurdzo of MA, Richard Zawislak and his wife Lorraine of FL, Patricia Tolokan of Windham, CT, Linda Lewis of Willimantic, CT and many others. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
