Mildred Hill

Mildred Hill, 86, of Columbia, died Thursday April 1, 2004 in Norwich. She was born March 25, 1918 in Hazardville, the daughter of Leslie and Nettie Hill. She was employed at the former American Thread Company in Willimantic for a number of years. Mildred enjoyed gardening and the company of a few close friends. She is survived by a sister, Margaret Menditto of Mansfield and several cousins. A graveside service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the New Willimantic Cemetery, Rte. 32 at Rte.6, Willimantic. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. box 26, Columbia, CT 06237.
